All pieces are fired to a high heat and are dishwasher, food, and microwave safe. Even the vases. Haven’t you ever wanted to drink a gallon and a half of something out of a vase?

Pieces are thrown on the wheel or built by hand, then fired to cone 06 (~1828 degrees F). Each piece is then dusted, glazed, and refired to cone 10 (approx 2380 degrees F). (what’s the deal with the cones?) This high heat melts the elements in the glaze to coat each piece in what is essentially colored glass, and vitrifies the clay body.
